Primary Traditional Usage:
Symptoms may include:
- Food retention
- Occasional Stomach bloating or discomfort
- Occasional Bad Breath, belching, and acid regurgitation
- Loss of appetite
- Occasional Nausea or diarrhea
Note: The tongue usually has a greasy and thick coating;
the pulse is slippery and forceful.
Property and Function: Warm
and Cool. Removes Qi and Food Stagnation, eliminates Dampness, clears
Stomach Heat from Food stagnation to aid digestion,* and harmonizes
Stomach function.
Combination:
- For occasional diarrhea, combine with HXS
- For occasional upset stomach, combine with GW
Caution: Avoid
prolonged use if Spleen and Stomach Deficiency are
present.
