Property and Function: Warm and Hot. Expels
external Wind, Cold, and Dampness, tonifies Liver and Kidney
Yang, strengthens the circulation of Qi and Blood.*
Primary Traditional Usage:
Symptoms mainly include:
- Lower back and knee discomfort, stiffness or numbness
- Aversion to cold and relief with the application of heat
- Shortness of breath and uncomfortable chest
- Symptoms worse in windy, cold and damp weather
Note: Tongue is usually pale with a white coating.
Combination:
- To enhance circulation, combine with B
- For occasional neck and shoulder discomfort, combine
with BT
- For occasional lower back discomfort, combine with YYT2
Caution: Do not use if Excess Heat
condition is present.
