Property and Function: Warm.
Replenishes the Spleen and Heart, tonifies Qi and Blood.*
Primary Traditional Usage: Useful
to support conditions arising from Qi and Blood Deficiency,
especially Heart and Spleen.*
Symptoms mainly include:
- Emotionally low, especially when accompanied by fatigue
- Sadness, easily worried and crying
- Sleeplessness, characterized by waking up too easily
or too early and difficulty falling back asleep
- Poor memory and concentration
- Menstrual period symptoms, including irregular bleeding,
caused by or related to Spleen or general Qi and Blood
Deficiency
- Menopausal symptoms
Combination:
- For sleeplessness,* combine with SHM and/or AML
- For emotional lows,* combine with Y-JXY
Caution: Do not use if Excess
Heat or Fire or Damp-Heat conditions are present.
