Tangerine Rind (Chen Pi) |
Loquat Leaf (Pi Pa Ye) |
Ginseng Root (Ren Shen) |
Chinese Licorice Root (Gan Cao) |

Property and Function: Cool.
Clears Dryness and Heat; activates and opens closed and
inhibited Lung Qi; tonifies Lung Yin; supports and regulates
Lung function.*
Primary Traditional Usage:
1) Lung / Bronchial Support*
Note: Little or no tongue coating and a thin, fast pulse are often
exhibited.
Combination:
- For Defense Qi Deficiency, combine with GBS
- To balance moods,* combine with Y-JXY and GPT
- For occasional dry throat,* combine with YANT
Caution: Use with caution if Wind-Cold
or Qi and Yang Deficiency are present.
