The Chicago School of Traditional Chinese Medicine is an Illinois Certified Acupuncture Education Sponsor and it offers courses that meet CEU/PDA requirements for IL renewals and NCCAOM re-certification in Chinese herbal medicine and other related practices. Our school offers a non-degree program especially designed for practicing medical professionals who wish to consider integrating aspects of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) into their medical practices. Annually, we provide up to eight seminars (New Jersey and Chicago) from February to November. Each seminar may count toward 5-8 continuing education units. Led by Zhengang Guo, master herbalist and acupuncturist, our Westmont seminar location boasts various topics each year and usually reflects subjects of high interest as determined from TCM practitioners’ surveys and requests.

   In response to high demand, we also offer seminars to our patients and the general public. Our seminars are also a good place for an aspiring Chinese herbalist in Chicago to start. With the goal of integrating Western medicine with Eastern medicine (TCM) for the utmost benefit of the patient, we offer a once-a-month Saturday conference specifically designed to address the needs of Western trained health practitioners, including medical doctors, osteopaths, chiropractors, naturopaths, dentists, psychologists, etc. Once you’ve taken away all that the seminars offer, there’s always the opportunity to gain more hands-on experience at one of our clinics. Our acupuncture clinic in Chicago might be more conveniently located for you if you reside inside of the Loop; if not, then besides our Westmont location, we offer acupuncture in Northbrook, IL in the north suburbs on Dundee Road.
