From Huangshan mountain in the southeast of China, a fertile land with abundant rainfall and clear water, comes the award-winning Superfine Zhen Mei Tea, one of Life Rising's green teas of choice. Its silver-gray and emerald-green leaves are shaped in narrow strips, accounting for its colloquial name, Zhen Mei or "treasure eyebrow." We use only young, whole leaves. Whereas older leaves will produce tea that is turbid and bitter, young leaves create tea that is clear and aromatic with exceptional healing properties.
